Principle
The needle marking all marks (text, numbers, LOGO, two-dimensional code) is composed of a series of points, each point is composed of needle impact marking surface. The controllable current pulse generates magnetic field through the electromagnetic coil, and the impact pin is generated by the magnetic field. The marking pin of hard alloy or mosaic industrial diamond hits the workpiece surface violently under the action of magnetic field. The high performance spring takes the needle back to the initial position and waits for the next pulse. The marking frequency is adjusted by adjusting the marking dynamics and the motion speed of the X and Y axes. The uniqueness of the purple sun marking point pin marking is that the controller can measure the frequency between every two pulses to ensure the consistency of the impact.
Application:
The marking was supposed to be done on inside surface of a ball. The surface was cylindrical in shape… just like doing marking on wall of the hole.
Solution: We had to put an extension on the marking machine so that the marking stylus could protrude out of the marking machine. Then a dotted type stylus was used to take care of the irregular surface on the inside of the ball. The marking which also involved a logo was done very effectively using this trick.
